Scope of work
The Scope of work includes the provision for suitable professional services, management, supervision, labour and equipment to carry out the Design and Construction Works associated with the laboratory facilities.
The facility consists of five buildings.
They are a mix of new and refurbished buildings, with prefabricated buildings free issued by Iluka and two existing buildings that were be repurposed. OTOC’s scope included the detailed design/layout of the buildings along with all required internal modification and fit out, and the installation of the modular buildings.
- Solution Building (steel frame new build).
- Solids Building including Environmental office (repurposed steel frame).
- Inorganic and Organic chemical storage room (repurposed transportable).
- Radioactive Material store (repurposed transportable).
- Lab Office including crib room, toilet / shower facilities and locker room (refurbish building - steel / brick).
